About me

15 years ago I thought it would be good idea to become a chef. That way, I could totally indulge in my life obsession – food. It’s been a bit of a journey over quite a few continents but I now cook in Melbourne at my own place, (together with my sommelier husband) Neighbourhood Wine in North Fitzroy, creating no-bullshit food designed to comfort rather than impress with smart culinary tricks.

This is my food diary, it covers anything ‘food’, anywhere I happen to be, about anything foodish I’m doing… Posts range from ingredients or dishes I’m loving, stuff I did at work, inspiring restaurant meals, food policy and politics, & culinary literature I find fascinating.

If you don’t like it, don’t read it! 🙂
